Q: What if is raining or the weather is bad on the day?

If the weather is inclement, making the event unsafe we will postpone to a new (to be confirmed) date. All entries will be automatically transferred to the new date. Refunds will be available to those who are able to participate in the new event. Updates on the Skyline Trail will posted on Hatta Outdoor's Instagram account and here on this page of our website. We will also email any significant notices directly to you.

Q: What happens after I've registered?

Well firstly, thanks for registering and being part of what will be an incredible hike. About a week before (8th February) we will send you an email update on the event and also a final reminder the day before. Don't worry, once you are registered you are a part of the Skyline Trail Hike.

Q: Do I need walking poles?

This is your personal preference, they do serve a purpose and we would fully understand why you you would want to use your own.

Q: Is the SkyLine Trail a race?

Absolutely not. This is a hike only. Running is not permitted in this event.

Q: What if I want to walk quicker than those around me?

That's fine, you can hike at your own safe pace. The rule on overtaking on the Skyline Trail is only to do so when it is safe to do so and also to communicate clearly with all those concerned.

Q: Can I hike in a large group?

Yes you can hike in a group. the trails (on the whole) are very narrow single track and so the group will have to spread out.

Q: Can I buy additional T Shirts?

Subject to availability additional T Shirts will be on sale on the day of the event at a price of 79 AED

Q: When do I get my T Shirt?

You can collect your limited Edition T Shirt either before or after the event. Collection is from the registration area at the start of the Hike in Wadi Hub.

Q: How hard is the Skyline Trail?

This is a hard 8.5km hike with steep ascents and steep descents.

Q: Are there toilets on route?

No there are not, but there are in Wadi Hub where the Skyline Trail starts and finishes.
