Activity – A specific individual attraction in Wadi Hub.

Hatta Outdoor – The company operating the activity. Registered in the UAE as Hatta Outdoor Playgrounds LLC

Participant – Anyone using or participating in or on an activity

Operator – A qualified member of staff employed by Hatta Outdoor to provide a specific service on an activity.

SMT – Senior Management Team

Hatta Outdoor operates a portfolio of different attractions and activities. Each activity has set very strict conditions for participation in accordance with the specific safety rules for the practice of that activity.

If the rules are not observed, Hatta Outdoor’s activities can be dangerous, can cause serious injury and even death. You (the participant) are solely responsible for learning the correct techniques and the safety measures taught, demonstrated, or explained. You personally assume all risks and liabilities for any damage, injuries or death that might be caused by not observing the safety rules and the important recommendations set out in this document, on notice boards in Wadi Hub or instructed by operators.

If you are not in a position to assume this responsibility or risk, do not perform any of Hatta Outdoor’s activities.

The general preliminary safety instructions are stated at the time of collection of tickets at Hatta Outdoor reception located at Wadi Hub and are then explained by the monitors during the introduction course in the area of the actual activity.

Any PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) issued to participant must be worn and the activity cannot be performed without using this safety equipment. It is strictly forbidden for the guest to use their private equipment unless by prior agreement by Hatta Outdoor’s Senior Management Team.

Guests are responsible for the strict application of any rules that have been shown to them, for their own safety and also the safety of others during the activity.

The participant, upon starting the activity, is entitled to use the facilities for either a maximum time period or specific number of times as shown below

These are guidelines only and in certain cases the activity duration may be more or less than stated. Additional time or attempts may be allocated depending on adverse situations. Changes to timings and the number of attempts is at the sole discretion of Hatta Outdoor and its employees.

A shorter user experience unless in the event of bad weather as explained below does not entitle the user to any refund or part of.

In the event of bad weather conditions, the management reserves the right to stop activity in Wadi Hub for your security. If this should happen, any guests who have used less than 50% of their allocated time period shall be given a full replacement ticket for use on a subsequent day within the same season.

If a ticket has been sold, there is no right of reimbursement. No transference of tickets is permitted at all.

All participants must be in attendance at the time of ticket purchase or redemption of online repurchased vouchers and/ or complimentary tickets.

Several of our activities allow for one attempt or stipulate a certain amount of time. Once the attempt or time on the activity has started then the ticket is considered used and cannot be used again irrelevant of how long it was used for or for how much of an attempt was completed.

Access to the activities is reserved for participants registered at the Wadi Hub desk and having completed both the physical and age requirement checks.

It is strictly forbidden to smoke during the activities and within the confines of the Hatta Outdoor’s activities.

Any guest exceeding the maximum period of any activity, or not handling back their safety equipment shall be charged a penalty of AED50 for each hour or fraction.

Access to Hatta Outdoor’s activity shall close 30 minutes prior to the closing time of the park as established in the document “Closing Times”. Participants must return any equipment 15 minutes before closing.

Participants must be in adequate physical and mental condition to perform an activity. Hatta Outdoor reserves the right to deny access to any activity or to interrupt a person performing an activity in the case of any person not meeting the minimum safety requirements (potentially under the effect of alcohol, failure to observe the safety rules, or looking physically exhausted etc.)

Authorization for access to the black “higher difficulty level” (Ropes Course) shall be given exclusively by Hatta Outdoor’s instructors after observing your ability on the “lower” circuits.

All users accept without restriction the conditions on participation and safety. You accept that it is compulsory to wear the safety equipment provided throughout the performance of any activity.

The function of the operators is to supervise, give advice to participants, and to intervene. Possibly giving assistance in case of difficulty.

The compulsory introduction course, demonstrations and /or instruction given to all participants on all of Hatta Outdoor’s Activities is compulsory to attend and to be understood.  The knowledge given by Hatta Outdoor’s instructors enables the participants to be completely (on some activities) autonomous and for them to be responsible for their own safety.

Always keep the safety equipment (harness, carabiners, etc.) well fastened. Do not adjust any equipment once fitted and checked by Hatta Outdoor’s operators.

In the case of the Ropes Course, there may not be more than two participants on each line and two on each platform.

Use of the pulley on the Ropes Course is for the ziplines and only for this purpose.

Anyone with long hair must keep it tied up.

Do not carry coins, mobile phones, or any other metal object in your pockets if the pocket cannot be completely closed. Better advice is not to take any personal belongings on any activity. Hatta Outdoor shall not be held liable for any damage to or loss of your personal belongings.

Gloves are optional for use on some activities. These can be rented for AED15 or purchased for AED40.

Never place your hands in front of the pulley or touch a safety cable whilst in movement.

Signposting (pictograms, colour markings on cables) on some challenge indicates its level of difficulty. Therefore, you are advised to follow the indications given for the activity in the best conditions of comfort and safety.

All participants are asked to be respectful and responsible to themselves, others and the environment whilst participating on any activity.

It is advisable to be in good physical shape and it is recommended you take short breaks and rest sufficiently between any activity or part of. If you are unsure of your physical condition or readiness to participate in any of Hatta Outdoor’s activities, please seek the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.

The Ropes Curse can attract a large number of people, but certain participants who have incorrectly estimated their own ability level or disregarded an instruction from our instructors can become a hazard on a cable or a platform, whether due to dizziness, uneasiness or due to injury. Other participants, therefore, who become aware of the situation, should cope with a possible imminent danger to the person by first advising our instructors of the need to intervene. Witnesses must be aware of the danger and they are not obliged to intervene if this poses a risk to themselves or to the victim.

Once fitted, participants are not permitted to loosen their harness or other mandatory safety equipment before or during any activity. If the equipment is uncomfortable or needs adjusting this action must be completed and checked by Hatta Outdoor’s operators before starting or continuing with any activity.

Hatta Outdoor cannot be held liable for any incidents arising from the practice of these activities if the any of the aforementioned conditions of participation are accepted under false pretenses, if the safety rules are not observed, or in the case of panic of one or more participants.

Hatta Outdoor reserves the right to close any activity for whatever reason and an alternative (possible duplication) activity will be provided for.

Bundled activities are non-negotiable and there is no option to change.

All issued tickets are not refundable. However, if the ticket is cancelled a minimum of 24 hours before the reservation, Hatta Outdoor’s sales staff are able to reschedule the reservation to a date mutually convenient.

The advanced purchase code enabling a 20% discount for activities purchased at least a day in advance cannot be used in conjunction with other offers and evidence of purchase must be presented at the Wadi Hub counter and exchanged for a participation bracelet.

The 10% online purchase code can be used on the same day of purchase and evidence of purchase must be presented at the Wadi Hub counter and exchanged for a participation bracelet.

Hatta Outdoor reserves the right to change or modify any of its terms and conditions.

Hatta Outdoor reserves the right to refuse participation on any of its activities.

Season Pass Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions

A Season pass holder is a single person, identified by name and official ID as the sole user.

A waiver form (completed in Wadi Hub, Hatta Outdoor reception) must be completed every day of use, by the Season Pass holder or parent or legal guardian (in attendance) if under 16.

The measurement of Season Pass holders age, height, and weight must be taken each day of use.

Age, height, and weight limits apply at all times on all activities throughout the season.

In peak times maximum activity participation times apply on activities.

Only activities that the user’s height, weight, and age permit participation are included in the specific Season Pass for that holder.

Canon (Sling Shot, Angry Birds) is excluded from all Season Passes.

No refunds at any time throughout the season.

No transferal of Season Pass to another user is permitted unless for the reasons stated below.

One transfer of Season Pass is permitted for medical reasons (operation, heart complaint, broken leg etc.) or due to travelling / work changes. These changes are subject to management approval and an administration fee of 250 AED.

If Season Pass holder becomes ineligible to participate throughout the year, for example gaining weight no refund part or full is permitted.

The management reserves the right to alter or close activities as well as change regulations related to participation in the activities.
